Location - Marram Trading, Hurstpierpoint High Stree
Time - 7.30-10.30 pm
Our pop up restaurant event brings a taste of Greece to Hurstpierpoint. Ikaria is a tiny Greek island known to be one of the Blue Zones of the world. A Blue Zone is defined as a place where the environment is conducive to old age; in Ikaria it was found that residents are several times more likely to reach the age of 90+ compared to normal. Why? Come and find out. Longevity is about healthy plant-based eating, solidarity, community, laughter and down-time. We will be combining all of these in one.
Our 3 course set menu includes a starter of Greek dips, hand-crafted pitta bread and courgette and feta fritters, vegetarian moussaka with Greek salad side as a main and a delicious apricot and dark chocolate tart for dessert. To provide balance during this healthy soiree there will be a licensed bar selling a Greek white wine and a sweet dessert red.
Cost per person - £28
Drinks can be purchased from the bar (cash only)
