This is a 1 and a bit hour workshop aimed at encouraging kids to be more experimental with new foods, textures of food and food combinations. The twist is that we explore foods by using all of our senses. There is NO obligation to taste anything, only to consider how they smell, feel and look. Tasting is purely optional and becomes much more appealing through play. The workshop involves skills in Maths, Science and Food Tech so hugely educationally on many levels.

Best suited to 7-11 year olds. We only use fruits and vegetables to avoid (most) allergy/intolerance issues.

Turn your fussy kids into taste explorers and be prepared to go on a journey of food exploration with your children. Warning, things could get a little messy!

Parents are required, it’s not a drop off. There will be time at the end for questions and advice. Tea is available for parents.

This session will be held in the lovely conservatory of Torch retreat in Hurstpierpoint, looking out over the South Downs.
